14mm Fittings

14mm barbed fittings – which are typically double barbed – are suitable for 14mm ID (internal diameter) LDPE pipe. As they are double barbed, they are the most secure in position of all barbed fittings. To use them, it is highly recommended to warm the LDPE pipe in warm water before inserting fittings, otherwise insertion can either be difficult or prone to being incomplete.

With the addition of the CT15 (15mm Ratchet Clip for 13mm or 14mm ID Pipe) ratchet clip at every connection to pipe, you can be assured of an extra secure connection. When clamping down on CT15 clips it is recommended to not just tighten the clips hand-tight, but to tighten down extra with a pair of grips or pliers.
