Hunter MP Rotator Nozzles
Hunter MP (‘Matched Precipitation’) Rotator Nozzles have a low precipitation rate combined with extremely even water distribution. This allows these remarkable nozzles, with their accompanying Hunter Pro Spray pop-up sprinkler bodies, to be used on systems with reduced flow and pressure.
They open the door to being able to use lower power pumps (and therefore less expensive pumps), as well as smaller tanks. They also allow, should there be the need, for more pop-up sprinklers to operate at any one time.
They are highly flexible nozzles. Their radius can be almost any distance from 2.5 meters to 10.7 meters. Their arc can be anything from 45 degrees to 360 degrees. They even have ‘Strip’ models that can sprinkle in a long rectangular shape.
Their water consumption is as low as you can get for the area they cover. That’s because they don’t blitz the water out like most sprinklers, instead they water like natural rain, allowing the grass and soil to absorb water at an optimum rate.
The precipitation rate for all nozzles is 10mm per hour, no matter their radius or arc. So for a lawn in the height of summer you would typically run these for about 20 to 30 minutes per day.
The 1000 models have the shortest throw, the 3500 models have the longest.
